Our story

It started with helping children find their voice.

Founded by Elaine Shannon, Ready To Learn grew from her work helping children learn English. She created the RTL English teaching system that forms the educational foundation of RTL Clubs.

A teacher's experience. A child's possibility.

Elaine's work with young children in Hong Kong shaped her approach to sounds, reading and spoken language. She developed structured teaching materials to help children build their skills, one achievable step at a time.

That connection between thoughtful materials and personal encouragement remains at the heart of RTL today.

Keep the human part of learning

A patient explanation. A question that opens up an idea. Someone who notices a small success. Books and technology are most useful when they support those moments.

A wider world of learning

RTL Clubs brings that teaching heritage into a multi-programme platform for families, tutors and schools. Our growing programme family spans language, maths, creativity, thinking and practical skills.

One account connects the programmes. A lasting Learner Passport brings achievements together. Families can learn at home or with independent educators, while Clubs build teaching businesses rooted in their communities.
